The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontaine defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ripgut.
Ripgut tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fontaine manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ripgut shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fontaine defends it nicely.
