Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Kurze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Smithy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smithy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Diabolic- Soldier's Logic. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konrad Kurze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Timmy Smithy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smithy is looking to chop away at Kurze's legs.
Kurze throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smithy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kurze.
Kurze tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smithy was well out of range. Poor timing from Kurze.
Kurze throws out a loose jab but Smithy uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smithy ducks under a wild hook from Kurze.
Kurze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kurze misses with a body shot.
Smithy on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kurze looks to score with a jab to the body but Smithy is just out of range.
Kurze throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Smithy's head.

Smithy lands a really nice looking cross but Kurze seems unphased.
Smithy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kurze throws out the jab.

Kurze punishes Smithy's body with a nice straight punch.
Smithy thuds his shin into the meat of Kurze's side.
Kurze steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smithy. That one must have hurt.
Smithy connects with a single shot there.
Smithy feints and then cracks Kurze's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kurze down.

Smithy lands a jab.

Smithy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kurze's head backwards.
Kurze gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smithy.
Smithy moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Kurze shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kurze was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kurze is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smithy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Smithy has his hands clasped together around Kurze's back. He's all about the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kurze is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Smithy sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kurze darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Smithy tries to work over Kurze's front leg with a kick but Kurze checks it.
Smithy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kurze.
Smithy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Smithy has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Smithy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Both fighters circling a little - Smithy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kurze misses the shot to the body.
Kurze misses with a straight right.
Smithy misses with a kick to the body.
Smithy thuds his right hand into Kurze's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Kurze is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Kurze showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smithy.
Smithy has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Smithy throws a leg kick

and Kurze counters with a takedown into side control.
Smithy tries to improve position but can't.
Kurze throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Kurze thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kurze creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smithy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kurze swings around for an armbar but Smithy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kurze's guard.
Konrad Kurze overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Smithy trying to control the position from guard on top but Kurze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kurze has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Smithy should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kurze has tightened it up now! Smithy should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Konrad Kurze really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellbent logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
