Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barney Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by On To The Next One. Chase Rollins has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 22 - 1, fighting out of London, Barney Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Chase Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws an off balance right hand
and Rollins counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee throws a chopping leg kick but Rollins manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rollins shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rollins throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rollins is in Lee's guard.
Lee looking to control.
Rollins wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Lee pulls Rollins in close to prevent any damage.
Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Rollins passes into half guard.
Rollins trying to mount his opponent but Lee defends it.
Rollins missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Rollins performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rollins slips a jab from Lee.
No joy there for Rollins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rollins tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.
Rollins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rollins forces Lee back against the cage and clinches.

Lee breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Rollins rushes Lee and presses him up against the cage.
Rollins tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually Rollins drops back down to his feet.
Barney Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Rollins.

Lee breaks from the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Lee.
Rollins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rollins shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee jabs at Rollins's body.
Rollins moves to clinch but Lee breaks away
and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Lee displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rollins.
Lee tries to bum rush Rollins with a series of wild strikes but Rollins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rollins wants to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lee dips to his left and cracks Rollins with an uppercut!
Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lee cracks a nice hook into Rollins's ribs.
Rollins shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rollins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rollins has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Lee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rollins's head.
Rollins doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lee counters with a body kick that stops Rollins in his tracks momentarily.
Rollins throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease.
Rollins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Chase Rollins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A head kick misses from Rollins.
Lee misses with an uppercut
and Rollins counters with a right hand to the body.
Rollins shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Barney Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Rollins.
Rollins fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rollins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Rollins clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage.
Rollins is looking to control Lee's arms but Lee gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rollins has his back to the cage.
Rollins tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lee just stands there and leans against the cage.
Rollins goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rollins looking to stall.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rollins fails with a takedown attempt.
Rollins takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lee throws a body punch but Rollins moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rollins tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range.
Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee throws a hook but Rollins blocks it.
Rollins throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rollins off to one side.
Chase Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rollins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rollins misses with a low kick.
Rollins tries a head kick but it misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Lee.
Rollins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rollins is breathing heavily.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rollins has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rollins there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barney Lee is winning the standup battle so far.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rollins. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Rollins moved out of range nicely.
Rollins staying out of range there.
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rollins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Lee pulls Rollins in to control the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rollins is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is trying to keep Rollins in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Barney Lee.
Rollins wants to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rollins fails in his attempt to clinch.
A head kick from Rollins lands but Lee takes it in his stride.
Lee with a nice cross.
Lee misses with an attempted mid kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee misses with an uppercut. Rollins saw that one coming.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rollins was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
Rollins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rollins slips under a jab.

Rollins gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch.
Rollins shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rollins wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side
and Lee counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rollins thinking.
Rollins takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Lee scores with a leg kick.
Lee punishes Rollins's body with a nice straight punch.
Rollins fails with the takedown.
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rollins blocks a jab.

Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rollins takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lee jabs Rollins to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A big left from Lee misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rollins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Good leg kick by Lee there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Rollins is rocked!
Barney Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chase Rollins.
Lee darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rollins's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lee before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barney Lee!
Barney Lee seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
