Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Angus McLoughlin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLoughlin throws a leg kick but Zero sees it coming and checks it nicely.
McLoughlin blocks a jab.
McLoughlin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McLoughlin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zero under the eye.

It looks like Sub Zero has been cut.
Zero keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McLoughlin.
McLoughlin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McLoughlin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Zero swivels and escapes.
Zero throws a nice looking combination but McLoughlin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zero misses with a body shot.
Zero defending well as McLoughlin loads up on a big left hand.
Zero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McLoughlin throws a series of punches but Zero moves out of range.
McLoughlin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zero was well out of range. Poor timing from McLoughlin.

Zero lands a left and a right that send McLoughlin crashing to the mat, dazed. Zero thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Angus McLoughlin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Some wild striking there from Zero.

McLoughlin drives through and clinches with Zero against the cage.
McLoughlin fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zero misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McLoughlin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Zero avoids the elbow strike from McLoughlin, against the cage.
Zero misses with a hook from the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Zero.
McLoughlin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Sub Zero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angus McLoughlin.

Zero drops McLoughlin onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! McLoughlin is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

McLoughlin is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zero creates a bit of distance for himself, with McLoughlin pressed up against the cage and cracks McLoughlin with a massive uppercut! McLoughlin goes down! He's out cold! Wow, that was some serious power there by Zero!

Sub Zero decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
