The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skon misses with the combination.

Skon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cleveland was covering up waiting for the punch and Skon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cleveland is looking to stand up but Skon isn't so interested in that idea.
Skon wants to stand but Cleveland is controlling his posture from full guard.
Skon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Let's hope that Skon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Skon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cleveland to the mat! Cleveland manages to get full guard.
