Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Ben Faur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Phil Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Faur's entrance music is remember the name. A fine choice. Davis has chosen Coldplay - Clocks as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben Faur fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ben Faur drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Davis wants the takedown. Ben Faur is fighting it off but Davis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ben Faur's guard against the cage.
Davis postures up.
Ben Faur wants to sweep here but Davis controlling him for the moment.
Davis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ben Faur keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully.
Ben Faur knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.
Davis controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mr Phil Davis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Davis lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Jean Ben Faur has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ben Faur ducks straight into an uppercut from Davis and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Ben Faur manages to regain guard straight away.
Ben Faur is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Davis landing with the ground and pound.
Oh Ben Faur is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Davis controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Ben Faur is out! Davis gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mr Phil Davis!
A relieved looking Mr Phil Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
