Hadley comes to the cage accompanied by Bad Guy. Leopoldo has chosen Requiem for a Dream - Lux Aeterna as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hadley misses with a straight right.
Alex Hadley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hadley has managed to clinch.

Hadley breaks the clinch.
Hadley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Leopoldo sprawls well. Leopoldo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hadley gets slowly back to his feet.

Hadley clinches up with Leopoldo and pushes him back against the cage.

Hadley decides to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hadley wriggles free and stands up.

Hadley has closed the distance and engaged Leopoldo in a clinch.
Hadley wants a takedown.
Hadley lands a hook to the side of the head.
Leopoldo jumps guard but Hadley turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hadley blocks an uppercut.

Hadley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leopoldo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hadley.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Hadley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leopoldo keeps the fight on the outside.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leopoldo scores with the left hand. Hadley knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Alex Hadley has been cut.
Hadley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Leopoldo closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Hadley out cold! Hadley corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
