Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Alonso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ned Alonso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez lands with a nice body kick.
A punch combination from Alonso misses.
Chavez tries a head kick but it misses.
Alonso thows a body shot but no joy.
Alonso takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Chavez misses with a double jab.
Chavez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alonso takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Alonso scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Chavez lands a leg kick that knocks Alonso off balance momentarily.
No joy there for Alonso, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Chavez clinches up with Alonso and pushes him back against the cage.
Alonso wants to break free but Chavez has control.
Alonso is trying to drag Chavez to the mat but Chavez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Chavez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Knees in the clinch landing for Chavez.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alonso wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chavez has him pressed against the cage.
Alonso wants to break free but Chavez has control.
Chavez unloads a knee to the mid-section.

Chavez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Alonso backwards.

Chavez lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Alonso.
Alonso tries to break the clinch but Chavez is controlling the position.
Alonso's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

It looks like Ned Alonso has been cut.
Chavez will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Alonso up against the cage.

Chavez drops Alonso with a big knee straight up the middle! Alonso is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Chavez walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Alonso drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Chavez swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Alonso's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
