Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremi Rounikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beach Bumm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Bumm.
Bumm throws a lazy right hand but Rounikki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rounikki wants to clinch up but Bumm keeps it at a distance.

Bumm dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bumm cracks Rounikki with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bumm has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rounikki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rounikki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rounikki gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bumm counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rounikki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bumm.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bumm manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bumm goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Rounikki is on top in guard.
Bumm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rounikki has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bumm to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rounikki is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bumm pulls down on the head and he's put Rounikki to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Beach Bumm!
