The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pot gets a double leg takedown into Forcover's guard.
Forcover keeping moving, preventing Pot from controlling successfully.
Pot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pot preventing the sweep.
Forcover is trying to keep Pot in close.
Forcover avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Pot wants to control from the top but Forcover keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pot throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Forcover connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Forcover tried to score with a low kick but Pot checks it.
Pot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Forcover sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pot will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pot lands a nice shot that snaps Forcover's head back.
Forcover dodges the punch combination from Pot.
Forcover ducks under a wild hook from Pot.
Forcover ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Forcover lands with a kick to the temple. Pot shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Jack Pot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forcover doesn't manage to clinch there - Pot circles away.
Pot takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Forcover throws a half hearted mid kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Forcover pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Forcover moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Pot falls off balance throwing a combination
and Forcover counters with an outside leg kick.
Pot avoids a kick to the body.
Pot misses with a takedown attempt - Forcover sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pot throws a lazy right hand but Forcover sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pot throws a jab when Forcover was well out of range.
Pot swings widly with a right hand
and Forcover counters with a thumping low kick.
Forcover lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pot will feel that in the morning.
Pot looks to land a combination but Forcover avoids it well.
Pot moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Pot takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Forcover is looking to slow Pot down with leg kicks.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pot is defended easily by Forcover.

Forcover scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pot doesn't seem bothered though.

A nice inside leg kick there by Forcover. That's going to slow Pot down.

Forcover pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pot is out of range and Forcover settles back down.
Forcover stuffs the takedown attempt from Pot. Pot gets slowly back to his feet.

Run Forcover dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Forcover fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Forcover is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pot.
Pot dives in and grabs Forcover's left leg, looking for a takedown. Forcover pushes down on Pot's head and hops out.
Forcover swings for the body but Pot moves out of range.
Forcover throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Forcover throws a nice inside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Forcover.
Forcover throws a leg kick which misses Pot's front leg but catches the back leg as Pot tries to avoid it.
Forcover doesn't manage to clinch there - Pot circles away.
Pot is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Pot shoots in for a double leg but Forcover sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jack Pot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Forcover closes the distance and clinches.
Pot has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Forcover is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Pot is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Forcover is defending well.

Pot is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Forcover can't fight it off and eventually Pot manages to take the fight to the floor. Forcover looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and Forcover finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Pot throws an overhand right that lands on Forcover's shoulder, as Forcover tries to avoid the shot.

Forcover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Good leg kick by Forcover there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Pot cracks Forcover with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Forcover throws a chopping leg kick but Pot manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Run Forcover showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Forcover paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Pot keeps the fight on the outside.
Forcover throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Forcover cracks Pot with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pot shoots in for a takedown but Forcover shows good takedown defense.

Pot fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Forcover to the ground. Pot is now in Forcover's guard.
Forcover is controlling Pot's posture.
Let's hope that Forcover has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Forcover is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pot trying to control but Forcover is working from the bottom.
Forcover tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Pot is fighting to break Forcover's control of his arms but Forcover is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Run Forcover hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Run Forcover seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Forcover fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pot looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Pot looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Forcover is just riding it out for now. Pot eventually gives up the hold.
Forcover is looking to control Pot's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Forcover avoid being mounted?

Well Forcover has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
