PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Rosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjorn Borg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bjorn Borg was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borg lunges at Rosa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rosa's hand.

It looks like Kurt Rosa has been cut.
Borg throws a body punch but Rosa moves out of range.
Rosa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rosa swings for the body but Borg moves out of range.
Borg lands a lovely overhand right.
Borg swings for the body but Rosa moves out of range.
Rosa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Borg's waist but Borg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rosa off to one side.
Borg wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rosa dodges the punch combination from Borg.
Jab, jab by Borg - just one landing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Borg jabs Rosa to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rosa dives in and grabs Borg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Borg pushes down on Rosa's head and hops out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Borg lands a jab to Rosa's midsection.
Borg is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rosa rather than just go for the knockout.
Rosa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Borg lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rosa at a distance.
Rosa is breathing heavily.

Rosa rushes Borg and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Borg prevents Rosa from breaking the clinch.
Borg softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Borg lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Rosa is rocked!
Borg lands a big right hand that drops Rosa! The killer instinct kicks in and Borg finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Borg!
