The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Matterhorn slips under a jab.

Von Matterhorn catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Yoijimbo stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Yoijimbo walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
It looks like Hojo Yoijimbo has been cut.
Von Matterhorn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yoijimbo.
Von Matterhorn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Von Matterhorn scores with a jab to the head.

Von Matterhorn stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yoijimbo.
Von Matterhorn missing with a left hand there. Yoijimbo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Von Matterhorn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yoijimbo.
A low kick from Yoijimbo misses
and Von Matterhorn counters with a good, hard body kick but Yoijimbo shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Von Matterhorn cracks Yoijimbo with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Yoijimbo is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Yoijimbo is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Yoijimbo could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Lorenzo Von Matterhorn! Lorenzo Von Matterhorn retains his heavyweight title!
