The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kong, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kong looks to land a combination. Mcbride sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Arnoldo Mcbride has been cut.
Kong throws a series of punches but Mcbride avoids them all with ease.
Mcbride tries a head kick but it misses.
Mcbride takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Mcbride could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kong tries to bum rush Mcbride with a series of wild strikes but Mcbride uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mcbride throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kong has cracked Mcbride with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kong lands another huge swinging hook and Mcbride tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Mcbride, before Kong can land any more shots!
