The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pwnzorz takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Oooooh!!! Hopkins has knocked Pwnzorz down with a huge combo! Hopkins steps away and waves a wobbly Pwnzorz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pwnzorz is rocked!

It looks like Merrick Pwnzorz has been cut.
Hopkins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pwnzorz shoots in looking for a takedown but Hopkins manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pwnzorz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pwnzorz is still on wobbly legs! Can Hopkins finish him?
Hopkins swings for the body but Pwnzorz moves out of range.
Pwnzorz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pwnzorz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hopkins as he avoids it easily.
Hopkins stuffs the takedown.
Mikey Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Merrick Pwnzorz.
Hopkins lands a big right hook! Pwnzorz looks hurt but is still standing! Hopkins lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Pwnzorz falls down and Hopkins dives in with a huge hammer fist! Pwnzorz's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Hopkins runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Mikey Hopkins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
