PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonardo Florentino Ernesto Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kogata Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 15 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Leonardo Florentino Ernesto Alvarez!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kogata Munoz!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz shoots for a double leg takedown but Alvarez sprawls well. He's pushed Munoz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alvarez shoots in but Munoz avoids the takedown attempt easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
