The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polden ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dung shoots for a double leg takedown but Polden sprawls well. He's pushed Dung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kris Polden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Dung.

Polden connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Polden stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Polden wants it to stay on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dung has eaten all the pies!

and Polden counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Polden lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dung.
Dung is trying desperately to land a takedown but Polden is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Dung.

Dung tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Polden swivels and escapes.
Polden forces Dung back against the cage and clinches.
Dung is working for takedown but Polden is calmly controlling the position for now.
Polden lands a body shot in the clinch.
Polden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Polden scores with a jab. Dung acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Polden is looking to wear down Dung with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Polden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dung swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Polden throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Dung colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Polden as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Dung is left battered and dazed whilst Polden and his camp cheer!
