The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver swings for the body but Bekas moves out of range.
Driver closes the distance and clinches.
Driver breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Driver punishes Bekas's body with a nice straight punch.
No joy there for Bekas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Driver sends Bekas crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Driver is motioning to the referee to let Bekas up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bekas is rocked!
It looks like Ryszard Bekas has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Driver tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bekas counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Bekas switches off momentarily and Driver cracks him with a monster right hand! Bekas topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Driver dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Driver!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rusty Driver!
In defeat, Ryszard Bekas stepped up to the mic, saying 'I tak Twoja stara bije mocniej...'.
