PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scottie Sven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Graciem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sven lands the left hand.
Sven throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sven cracks Graciem with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Sven misses with a wild body shot.
Sven dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sven moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sven throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Graciem counters with a left to the body.
Sven circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sven lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Left hook, right uppercut from Sven.
Sven misses with a few strikes there.
Sven fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Graciem on the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sven tries to bum rush Graciem with a series of wild strikes but Graciem uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Graciem dodges the punch combination from Sven.
No joy there for Sven, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sven really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sven is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Graciem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sven manages to avoid it.

Sven is breathing heavily.
Sven swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Graciem closes the distance and clinches.
