Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bart motions for Ferguson to come forward. Bart throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ferguson wants to clinch.

Ferguson really is a fat lump.

Bart's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ferguson wants to clinch but Bart slips to the side

and Bart counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bart is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bart makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Bart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ferguson keeping moving, preventing Bart from controlling successfully.
Ferguson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bart on the ground.

Bart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bart loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Bart wants to control from the top but Ferguson keeps moving.

Bart drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Bart seems to have locked his on tight now - Ferguson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Bart, as he picks up the win!
