Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stirling Sanguin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stirling Sanguin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanguin misses with an uppercut
and Garcia counters with a nice leg kick.
Garcia throws out a powerful jab.
Sanguin looks to land a combination but Garcia avoids it well.
A shot to the body from Sanguin misses
enabling Garcia to counter with a crisp jab.
Sanguin throws the left hand but Garcia avoids the punch easily.
Sanguin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Garcia counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Garcia has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Garcia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sanguin throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Garcia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sanguin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sloppy strikes from Sanguin. Those never looked like landing.
Sanguin looks to land a right hand but Garcia moved out of range.
Sanguin moves forwards but Garcia connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sanguin takes a kick to the side of the head.

Sanguin attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Sanguin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Garcia paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sanguin ducks right into an uppercut from Garcia.
Sanguin throws a series of punches but Garcia avoids them all with ease.
Sanguin looks to throw the jab but Garcia is out of range.
Sanguin is looking to clinch but Garcia is avoiding it.
Sanguin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Garcia counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Garcia throws a leg kick which misses Sanguin's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanguin tries to avoid it.
A right-left combo lands from Garcia.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Garcia counters with a huge left! Sanguin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Garcia isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sanguin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Garcia!
