Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tenchi Fuchigami!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuchigami throws a jab but it's blocked by Jin.
Jin throws a body punch but Fuchigami moves out of range.
Jin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jin misses with a looping right.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fuchigami. Jin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jin throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Tenchi Fuchigami has been cut.
Tenchi Fuchigami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuchigami digs a good body shot into Jin's ribs.
Fuchigami blocks a low kick nicely.
Jin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fuchigami bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fuchigami throws the left hand but Jin avoids the punch easily.
Nice uppercut lands for Fuchigami. That snapped Jin's head back.
Jin throws a head kick but Fuchigami moves out of range.
Fuchigami throws a jab but it's blocked by Jin.

Fuchigami scores with a jab. Jin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Fuchigami takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Fuchigami avoids the head kick by Jin.
Fuchigami throws a series of punches but Jin avoids them all with ease.
Fuchigami swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good leg kick by Jin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fuchigami looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Fuchigami tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jin was well out of range. Poor timing from Fuchigami.
Fuchigami takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fuchigami scores with a nice right hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jin ducks under a wild hook from Fuchigami.
A head kick misses from Jin.
Fuchigami tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fuchigami lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Fuchigami works over Jin's head and body with a nice combination.
Jin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Jin tries to clinch up but Fuchigami circles away and keeps his distance.
Fuchigami with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jin to score with a decent uppercut.

Fuchigami is rocked!
Jin feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Fuchigami crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ryu Jin!
After the fight, Ryu Jin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
