Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Viavao Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Oketch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaho comes to the cage accompanied by Joey B - Tonga (Feat. Sarkodie) . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Viavao Kaho!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vincent Oketch!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaho shoots in but no luck this time.
That kick from Oketch tenderised Kaho's leg. Kaho is trying to keep his angry face on.
Some bone on bone action there as Kaho checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Oketch tries to score with a low kick but Kaho moves his leg out of the way.
Oketch connects with a right hand. Kaho shakes it off.
Oketch tries to clinch but Kaho moves out of range.
Kaho slips under a jab.
Oketch misses with the combination.
Kaho on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oketch. Oketch obviously looking to wear him down.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kaho.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Oketch.

Oketch is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Kaho is defending well for now.

With the fighters up against the cage, Oketch throws an elbow but misses.

Oketch digs a right hand into Kaho's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kaho's gas tank.

Kaho is trying to drag Oketch to the mat but Oketch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Oketch is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kaho is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Oketch to the mat. Oketch regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kaho drops back looking for a leg! Oketch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Oketch manages to kick Kaho off! Kaho jumps back into Oketch's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Oketch is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Kaho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Oketch circles away.
Kaho seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Oketch fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kaho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oketch's waist but Oketch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kaho off to one side.

Oketch cracks Kaho with a nice body shot.
Oketch tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Oketch misses with an elbow over the top.
Oketch tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kaho avoids it.

Oketch scores with a nice hook to the head.

Oketch tries to work over Kaho's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kaho has hold of one of Oketch's legs. Oketch is fighting the takedown attempt but Kaho gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kaho drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Oketch dives on top into guard.

Kaho regains full guard. Nicely done.
Oketch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kaho isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Oketch stacks Kaho on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Oketch!

Kaho manages to work his way to half guard, despite Oketch's best efforts.

Oketch has hold of Kaho's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kaho manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Vincent Oketch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oketch can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's time! Kaho's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kaho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oketch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Viavao Kaho will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Are you kidding me?! Oketch ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Kaho clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
