The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Little looking to score a takedown here. Blaze is defending well but Little drives through and ends up in Blaze's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Blaze preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Little engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Blaze is looking to stand up but Little isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Blaze misses with an uppercut.
Blaze thuds a left hand into Little's body.

Blaze has managed to clinch.

Little wants to break free but Blaze has control.
Little goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Little keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Blaze's efforts to push away.
Little drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Blaze gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Blaze looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Little has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Blaze regains guard immediately.
Little with a flurry of punches that miss.

Little not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Little's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Alfredo Little wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Blaze throws a head kick that misses.
Blaze looks to land a right hand but Little moved out of range.
Blaze stuns Little with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Blaze drops his shoulder and cracks Little with a huge uppercut! Little goes down! Can Blaze finish him?

Little is breathing heavily.
