Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rockford Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Stars that Play with Laughing Sams Dice by Jimi Hendrix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Knight misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Glover.
Glover just misses with a punch to the body.
Glover shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Knight moves out of range as Glover throws a body kick.
Knight wants to clinch.
Glover throws out a leg kick but Knight moves out of range and Glover only half commits.
Knight throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Troy Glover has been cut.

I was talking to Glover's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Knight manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Glover manages to get himself to full guard.

Rockford Knight has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Knight looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Knight fails with an attempt to clinch.
Knight pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Knight throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Glover misses with a low kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Glover, right into the meat.
Glover chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Knight can pounce on him.

A looping hook to the body misses from Glover. Knight does a little dance to reset his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Glover takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Knight lands a big head kick that sends Glover tumbling to the mat! Knight takes a step backwards and waves Glover back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Knight looks to score with a jab to the body but Glover is just out of range.
Glover lands a nice looking body kick.
Glover throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knight stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Glover sends Knight crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Glover is motioning to the referee to let Knight up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Glover throws a hook but Knight blocks it.

Knight fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Glover checks it well.

Glover feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Knight's calf.

Glover closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Knight quickly recovers to half guard.

Glover is nestled in close to Knight, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Rockford Knight's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rockford Knight's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
