Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puppy Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halo comes to the cage accompanied by I am a Nightmare Walking. The crowd seem to be enjoying Love's choice of entrance music: Otherside by Mackemore X Ryan Lewis. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo connects with a leg kick. Love looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Halo throws a shot from downtown. Love moves away and avoids it.
Love on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Halo. Halo obviously looking to wear him down.
Love misses with an uppercut
and Halo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Love has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Love looks to land a right hand but Halo moved out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Halo tries to bum rush Love with a series of wild strikes but Love uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabriel Halo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Love dives in for a single leg takedown but Halo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Love is rocked!
Love is pressed against the cage. Halo pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Love! Two more big strikes from Halo and Love crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
