Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reyes Olsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Werty Quiop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quiop has chosen Barbie Girl as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Werty Quiop will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Quiop eats them both and turns towards Olsen to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Quiop shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Olsen counters with a nice uppercut.

and Olsen counters with a big head kick but Quiop shrugs it off.

Olsen has Quiop pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Olsen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Quiop tumbling to the mat - Olsen dives into Quiop's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Quiop is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We're going to have a standup here because Reyes Olsen wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Quiop drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Olsen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Quiop has Olsen in his guard.
