Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Lo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gun kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Tommy Gun. Hung Lo acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Lo.
Gun checks a leg kick nicely.

Gun gets tackled into the cage by Lo. Lo maintains the clinch.

Lo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Gun counters with a low kick, right behind Lo 's knee.

Gun is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lo lands a hook that snaps the head of Gun backwards.
Gun is trying to drag Lo to the mat but Lo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hung Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lo missing with a left hand there. Gun was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Guns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lo gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Tommy Gun's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
No joy there for Lo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gun displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lo throws out the jab.
Gun dodges the punch combination from Lo.

Lo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lo tries to clinch but Gun is having none of it.

and Gun counters with a good low kick that Lo was not able to check.
The fighters circling - Lo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gun manages to avoid it.

Lo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gun has Lo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Gun drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lo gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Lo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lo lands a left and a right that send Gun crashing to the mat, dazed. Lo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Jeez, Tommy Gun's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tommy Gun's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
