Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Mccarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccarthy misses with a head kick.
Mccarthy tries to clinch but Guerrero moves out of range.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Miguel Guerrero hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Guerrero has picked Mccarthy up - he's going for a ride! Guerrero dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mccarthy has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
