The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee looks to clinch

and Blankenship holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Blankenship could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blankenship looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Blankenship knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
