Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between donny marlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alex Rhodes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Rhodes.

It looks like donny marlow has been cut.
marlow feints and then cracks Rhodes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rhodes down.
marlow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
marlow digs a good hook to Rhodes's body.
Rhodes has a takedown stuffed.

marlow clinches up against the cage.
marlow tries to stall but Rhodes uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Rhodes is pressed up against the cage. marlow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rhodes down to the mat. Rhodes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Rhodes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
donny marlow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Rhodes.
marlow moves in looking to clinch but Rhodes pushes him off.
marlow shoots in and drives through. Rhodes sprawls well.
marlow swats away the attempt to clinch by Rhodes.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rhodes, as that shot connected.
A head kick misses from marlow.
Rhodes swings for the body but marlow moves out of range.
marlow moves out of range as Rhodes strikes.
Rhodes stuffs the takedown.
marlow throws a hook to the side of Rhodes's head but Rhodes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

marlow fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rhodes, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
marlow fails to pull guard.
Rhodes drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rhodes looks gassed!

marlow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rhodes wants to clinch but marlow slips to the side
and marlow counters with an outside leg kick.
Rhodes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with marlow but marlow pushes him off and we're back to square one.

marlow clinches up against the cage.

marlow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
marlow looks to score with a jab to the body but Rhodes is just out of range.

marlow darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
marlow trying to control the action but Rhodes is working from the bottom.
marlow is really struggling to control Rhodes but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rhodes is trying to stand up here but marlow is controlling him well.

marlow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rhodes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time marlow.
marlow seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Rhodes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with marlow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

marlow decides to stand up.
marlow throws a jab when Rhodes was well out of range.
marlow tries to clinch up but Rhodes circles away and keeps his distance.
Rhodes throws a leg kick
and marlow counters with a head kick. That will keep Rhodes thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Alex Rhodes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

marlow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

marlow throws a body punch but Rhodes moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by marlow. That's going to slow Rhodes down.

marlow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rhodes tries to improve his position but instead marlow has taken his back!
Rhodes wants to get back to his feet.
Rhodes looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
marlow controlling well, preventing Rhodes from escaping the position.
marlow lands punches and elbows.

marlow is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rhodes has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but marlow has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rhodes taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. marlow doesn't care though - he's delighted!
