Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arman Shaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shin Gouki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gouki closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shaker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gouki's elbow.
Gouki lands a nice uppercut.
Shaker tries for a takedown but Gouki manages to get underhooks.
Gouki swings wildly with an uppercut but Shaker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shaker keeps control of Gouki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Shaker jumps guard and drags Gouki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Gouki passes Shaker's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Shaker tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Shaker is pressing down on Gouki's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Gouki has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Shaker is proving hard to escape from.

Shaker has his foot on Gouki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gouki works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gouki wants to stand but Shaker has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shaker is trying to control the position but Gouki postures up.
Gouki wants to get up but he can't break Shaker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Shaker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gouki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gouki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gouki has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Shaker to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Gouki is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Shaker pulls down on the head and he's put Gouki to sleep! This one is all over!
