The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowakowski darts in looking for a takedown but Jordan gets double underhooks and turns Nowakowski into the cage.
Jordan is trying to break free.
Jordan can't break the clinch.
Nowakowski is looking to take this one to the mat.

Jordan breaks from the clinch.
Nowakowski fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Egidiusz Nowakowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jordan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nowakowski.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jordan is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nowakowski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Nowakowski tries for a kimura but Jordan is defending well.

Nowakowski is working to tighten his grip on Jordan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jordan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nowakowski is really squeezing tight and eventually Jordan passes out! Nowakowski breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
