The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Saint Seiya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Seiya throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lannister takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Seiya lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lannister backs up against the cage.
Lannister takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Seiya misses with a two punch combination.
Seiya will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Seiya tests Lannister's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Lannister gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Seiya.
Seiya throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lannister on the side of the head.
Seiya scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lannister doesn't seem bothered though.

Lannister closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Seiya lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Saint Seiya is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Lannister might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Well Seiya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
