The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolbauwah throws a series of punches but Hefernon moves out of range.
Bolbauwah circles away from the clinch attempt

and Bolbauwah holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hefernon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hefernon tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Bolbauwah manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hefernon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bolbauwah paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bolbauwah uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hefernon tries to clinch but Bolbauwah moves out of range.
