Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Knockout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Negan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Knockout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Philip Negan!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knockout connects with a looping right hand.
Knockout attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A nice leg kick lands there from Knockout.
Knockout scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Knockout connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Negan shoots in for a double leg but Knockout sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Negan shoots in and gets a takedown into Knockout's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Negan in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Knockout preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Negan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Knockout is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Negan is controlling him.
Knockout will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Knockout has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Negan off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Negan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Negan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Negan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Knockout checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Negan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Negan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Knockout connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Negan scrambles back to his feet.
Knockout takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Negan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Knockout takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Negan.
Negan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Knockout has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Knockout is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Negan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knockout looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Knockout on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Knockout stuffs the takedown attempt from Negan. Negan gets slowly back to his feet.
Oscar Knockout is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Negan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Negan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Negan advances to half guard.

Negan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Knockout sees it coming and defends easily.
Negan drops an elbow to the side of Knockout's head.
Knockout is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at BEVA Fight Home, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Negan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Knockout pushes Negan off looking to stand but Negan dives back in and keeps control.

Knockout wants to get back to his feet.

Knockout is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Negan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Knockout is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Philip Negan spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
