Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thad Ray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snoopie throws a sloppy head kick and Ray moves out of range easily.
Snoopie fails with a takedown attempt.
Ray shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snoopie but Snoopie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Snoopie shoots in for a double leg but Ray sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Thad Ray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blazer Snoopie.

Snoopie wants to stand up but Ray is controlling him.

Ray is in close to Snoopie's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Ray throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Ray's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Snoopie is looking to stand back up but Ray counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Snoopie.
Ray throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ray connects with a nice short shot to Snoopie's temple.
Snoopie wants to control but Ray is keeping busy.

Ray looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ray takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Ray seems to be working for a kimura but Snoopie defends the submission attempt.
Ray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ray seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Snoopie is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
