Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Bridges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rangi Apulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridges throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Apulu misses with a series of wild punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Apulu.
Nice sprawl there from Bridges as Apulu shoots in.
Apulu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bridges as he jumps to the side.
Teddy Bridges has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rangi Apulu.
Apulu forces Bridges back against the cage and clinches.
Bridges tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Apulu just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bridges fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Apulu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bridges jumps guard and drags Apulu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Bridges is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

It looks like Teddy Bridges has been cut.
Apulu decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bridges, up you get!
Apulu dives in for a single leg takedown but Bridges sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Apulu gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Apulu cracks Bridges with a solid left hand.

Bridges is looking to stand up but Apulu isn't so interested in that idea.
Apulu lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Apulu won't allow Bridges to get back to his feet.
Apulu stands up and waves to Bridges to follow him.
Bridges lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Teddy Bridges is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Apulu shoots in but Bridges avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bridges misses with an attempted mid kick.
Apulu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Apulu.
Apulu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Apulu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bridges down.

Apulu cracks Bridges with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Apulu immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Bridges is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Apulu!
