Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brett Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hayabusa's choice of entrance music: Lovers/7!!. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brett Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Hayabusa!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hayabusa gets a double leg takedown into Snow's guard.

Snow sneaks out the side door and pushes Hayabusa away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hayabusa wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Snow is now in half guard.

A close round but Ryu Hayabusa will probably get the nod.

Hayabusa manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Snow on his heels. He'll look to pass Snow's guard now, I'm sure.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ryu Hayabusa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Snow is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Hayabusa is pressing down on Snow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Snow is in close to Hayabusa's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Snow gets to his feet. Hayabusa looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

A close second round but Ryu Hayabusa will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Snow goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hayabusa has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Snow but great work by Hayabusa.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hayabusa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Snow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hayabusa is in Snow's guard.

Hayabusa wants to free his trapped foot but Snow is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hayabusa wants to stand but Snow has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Snow pulls Hayabusa in close to his closed guard and prevents Hayabusa from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Snow manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Snow is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hayabusa is defending well for now.

Snow escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hayabusa throws a head kick that misses
and Snow counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hayabusa's knee momentarily.

Hayabusa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Snow's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hayabusa wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.
Brett Snow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ryu Hayabusa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Ryu Hayabusa.
Well Hayabusa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
