We've been hearing good reports from Marx's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Marx moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tompkins has worked his arm free - good work by Tompkins!

Marx passes Tompkins's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Marx thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marx is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Tompkins moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
