PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle McAllister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McAllister kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is That Ain't Classy. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rory Williams!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and McAllister counters by moving into the clinch.
Williams wants to take the fight to the mat but McAllister manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

McAllister breaks the clinch.
Williams misses with a takedown

and McAllister counters with a shoot takedown. Williams fights it but they end up in guard.
Kyle McAllister has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rory Williams.
McAllister lands a couple of elbows.

Williams is looking for a triangle but McAllister pushes his legs off easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McAllister slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Williams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McAllister defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McAllister cracks Williams with a solid left hand.

McAllister postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
McAllister is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

McAllister is looking to advance position but Williams has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Williams jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… McAllister is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by McAllister and Williams has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McAllister is not content to let Williams control the position.

McAllister swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

McAllister goes for a double leg but Williams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Williams continues to drive forward.

McAllister gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Williams regains guard.

McAllister looks up at the clock and then as Williams takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McAllister smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

McAllister thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McAllister working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Williams goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, McAllister has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Williams but great work by McAllister.

Kyle McAllister showed his dominance in that final round.
Well McAllister has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
