Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nemo Nautilus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshi Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiroshi Tanaka has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nautilus misses with a wild combination.

Tanaka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nautilus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tanaka.

Tanaka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nautilus is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Tanaka has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Nautilus parries the strikes from Tanaka easily there. Tanaka is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nautilus to escape.

Tanaka tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Nautilus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Tanaka is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nautilus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tanaka has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nautilus is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tanaka yanks on the arm and Nautilus is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tanaka.
