The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

William shoots in and gets a takedown into Stick's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stick tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

William distracts Stick with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Stick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stick throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
William won't allow Stick to sweep him here.
William could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
William connects with a couple of short punches.

Stick wants to stand but William is controlling the position.
William lands a couple of decent looking shots.
William is working Stick over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Stick is rocked!
Stick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
William postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Stick covers up, he's hurt! William keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from William and the ref steps in to end the fight! William can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
