The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vatanen throws a hook but McDouglas avoids it easily.
Vatanen looks to land a left hand but McDouglas moved out of range nicely.

McDouglas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vatanen.

Vatanen stuns McDouglas with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jarko Vatanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDouglas moves in looking to clinch but Vatanen pushes him off.

Vatanen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Vatanen lands a big right hand that sends McDouglas crashing to the mat! Vatanen stays standing though and waves McDouglas back to his feet!

It looks like Ross McDouglas has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McDouglas throws a head kick but Vatanen moves out of range.
Oh McDouglas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vatanen digs a good body shot into McDouglas's ribs.
McDouglas is breathing heavily.
Vatanen lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens McDouglas up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Vatanen from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw McDouglas's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jarko Vatanen!
