Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grady Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Moran has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Grady Saunders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Moran!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moran misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
James Moran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saunders shoots in for a takedown but Moran shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Moran misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Moran gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Moran is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Saunders is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Saunders wants to control but Moran is keeping busy.

Saunders manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Moran tightens his grip and picks Saunders up, before dumping him to the ground. Saunders manages to land in guard.

Saunders seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Saunders shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Moran pinned against the cage. Moran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Moran tries to land a front kick but Saunders steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Moran feints and as Saunders raises his hands in defense, Moran changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Moran is fighting to break Saunders's control of his arms but Saunders is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Moran with a flurry of punches that miss.
Saunders really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

James Moran has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Saunders shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moran as he avoids it easily.

Saunders is looking to control Moran's arms but Moran gets an underhook and turns him. Now Saunders has his back to the cage.

Moran works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Saunders is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Moran is trying to maintain the position but Saunders is very close to passing his half guard.

Moran pushes Saunders off looking to stand but Saunders dives back in and keeps control.
