Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a series of punches but Loco moves out of range.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Loco catches Smith napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Smith to the canvas!

It looks like James Smith has been cut.

Loco stands up from Smith's guard - Loco perhaps looking for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith misses with the combination.

Loco gets caught flat footed, as Smith shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Loco wants to stand but Smith is controlling the position.
Smith is standing up over Loco. Loco looks to escape but Smith dives into side control.

Loco is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Smith gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Smith tries to break the clinch but Loco is controlling the position.

Smith throws a one two combo.
Loco throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.
Loco fails to land with a series of punches.
Loco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Loco is looking to get back to his feet here but Smith is keeping cool and he's managed to take Loco's back.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Smith has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Loco! Can he survive? No! He's out! Smith gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
