The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prower shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Couture napping and manages to drive through into side control!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Couture is trying to control Prower's posture but Prower avoids it.
Couture gets back to half guard.
Couture is concentrating on defense, preventing Prower from advancing position.
Couture tries to roll over but Prower keeps him under control.

Prower is trying to work for a kimura but Couture is defending well.

Couture manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Couture closes this distance looking for a takedown but Prower circles away.

Prower gets a double leg takedown into Couture's guard.
Prower has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
