Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Youngblood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Youngblood comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Numb. Smith has chosen The Mercenary as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Youngblood shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Youngblood tries to clinch there but Smith circles away.

We've been informed that Smith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Smith is looking to take a break and control but Youngblood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Youngblood closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Youngblood pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Youngblood looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Smith explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Smith fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Youngblood has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Smith misses with an attempted mid kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Smith.
Youngblood takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Youngblood does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Smith counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Youngblood! He's just covering up as Smith starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Terry Smith gave a mention to GREEN!160 in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
