Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perini misses with a double jab
and Bradshaw counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Bradshaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A lazy left from Perini finds it's target.


It looks like Wilbur Bradshaw has been cut.
Perini throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bradshaw looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bradshaw wants to stand but Perini has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Bradshaw is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Perini defends it well.

Bradshaw looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Perini regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bradshaw.
Bradshaw postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bradshaw fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Perini works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Jimmy Perini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Bradshaw counters with a straight right hand.

Perini is breathing heavily.
Bradshaw changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perini tries to avoid it but Bradshaw manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perini to the ground. Perini escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bradshaw feints and as Perini raises his hands in defense, Bradshaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perini can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bradshaw gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Perini throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bradshaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Perini swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bradshaw counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Bradshaw makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Perini really felt that one!
Bradshaw shoots for a takedown but Perini saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bradshaw decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Perini pushes Bradshaw off looking to stand but Bradshaw dives back in and keeps control.
Bradshaw not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Perini is trying to stand up here but Bradshaw is controlling him well.

Bradshaw is working for a kimura but Perini is defending it quite comfortably.

Ground and pound from Bradshaw.

Bradshaw stands up out of the half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Perini swinging wildly here.
No luck for Bradshaw with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradshaw is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Jimmy Perini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perini lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Bradshaw goes down and covers up as Perini starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Perini!
