Sax is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Infected Mushroom - Smashing The Opponent. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Amin Sax enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sax lands a head kick. Sonnen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Sax darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sonnen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sax.
Sonnen is not content to let Sax control the position.
Sax has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Sax content to control rather than advance.
Sonnen's coaches at Werewolf's cave have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
