LaVey comes to the cage accompanied by Deicide - Scars Of The Crucifix. Street is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Truth. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Street!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Street slams his shin into LaVey's torso.

Street feints and as LaVey raises his hands in defense, Street changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Street missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
LaVey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Street trying to control but LaVey is working from the bottom.
Street slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Street working away.
Street tries to move to mount but LaVey blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Street trying to control the position but LaVey is working away.
Street is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Street taking a break here but LaVey is having none of it and regains half guard.

LaVey keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Street not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Street wants to pass the guard but LaVey is defending well.
Street has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Bruize Brothers. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Street is looking to take a break and control but LaVey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Street drops an elbow to the side of LaVey's head.
LaVey won't allow Street to pass to mount.
LaVey is looking to control Street's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can LaVey avoid being mounted?
Street wants to pass to mount but LaVey is defending the position.

Street is trying to control the action in half guard but LaVey is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Street trying to mount his opponent but LaVey defends it.
LaVey is holding on to half guard well.

We're going to have a standup here because Lucas LaVey wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Street scores with a nice strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Street.
LaVey misses the shot to the body.

Street gets the takedown into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Street.
Street has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
You can see the frustration on LaVey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Street is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. LaVey knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
LaVey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

LaVey is looking for a sweep.
LaVey is not content to let Street control the position.
Street lands some shots froms side control.
LaVey is trying to control Street's posture but Street avoids it.
Street is working LaVey over with some ground and pound from side control.
Street working the ground and pound but LaVey is defending the strikes.
LaVey struggling a bit here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Street is looking to take a break and control but LaVey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Street looking to punish the body of his opponent here but LaVey is avoiding damage well.
LaVey pushes Street away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Street gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
LaVey is looking to reverse the position.
LaVey is trying to get back to his feet.
Street in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and LaVey looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Street turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
